See the Design of the New Berea Elementary School For the past several months, a Design Committee, composed of staff members, parents, and residents of the Berea City School District, have been meeting with Mr. Rodwell King, Senior Project Manager with GPD Architects, to develop the design plans for the district’s new elementary school to be built on the Fairwood site.This phase has now been completed, and the district is inviting residents to come and see what it will look like and share their thoughts. There will be two opportunities to meet the architect and committee members and see a computerized view of the exterior of the building:Tuesday, September 8, from 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. and Thursday, September 10, from 7 – 9 p.m.Both sessions will be held in the Community Room of the Berea Library, 7 Berea Commons, in Berea.
